My mum's friend brought me her Roland E-15 Intelligent Synthesizer to fix. The left speaker has no output. I fix computers. Opened it up and can't see anything wrong. Any link to a service manual would be helpful; I was able to get a User Manual from RolandUS site. This is a great site; thanks.

I bought a Roland E-15 in 1993 and I used it until 2005. I found the soundquality and styles good. But when I wanted to play a Turkish song, there isn't any Turkish instrument or style. Also to add a new style was impossible. Because of this reason; I sold me E-15 and bought an EM-55OR, which has nearly 3.600 sounds (including D-50, SH-101, etc. sounds of organ, brass, strings, oriental instruments) and the ability to add new styles. What I enjoy most about Roland is the voicequality.

I use it actually. It's a good keyboard (not a synth), with very good Piano and Strings.

Good machine for it's time. I bought one in 1993. But it's more of a home keyboard than a serious synth. It's comes with a complete set of GM sounds which you aren't really editable. I use it mainly as a MIDI controller now. I've used the sounds to death ;).
