I'm quite biased, since the HS-60 is the first and only synth I've owned,
but I love it now as much as the day I bought it 12 years ago. The speakers
make it a perfect first synth, as does the manual analog programming interface.
And about the grey color-- a few bucks of colored drafting tape works wonders.
Now for the sad news... after a decade of service and rugged travel, my baby has
started to breathe its last. Could it be an internal battery, or has it finally
bee through one too many move? Could any fellow users of this uncommon synth
give me a few ideas?

I think that the HS-60 is a great Synth! I purchased it not to long ago But I am pleased with its sounds and analog style. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement bender? When I got it the stick piece was broken off. Other than that I am pleased with this synths sounds and analog controls. It's not the first synth i've purchased but it is one of my favorites.
