Just borrowed one of these Beasts off a friend, and although it does sound great, the sounds all start to sound the same very quickly. You can make it wirble or buzz, little else. Still great noises all the same...

Beautiful synth!! very warm sounding!! Limited to todays standards but the sound keeps me on this synth, Hits the brain on point,Its not king I would have to say the crown belongs to the Jupiter 8 but the 60,and the 6,are in the same ballpark. The 106 is nice and with midi but is to thin sounding to the older brothers. The Alphas in my opinion are Hold overs to the D-series.

faux wood. warm, fat sound. how can you go wrong?

a good first keyboard. keep it in your arsenal because you'll regret it later.

i really enjoy analog jams with this thing, keeps the electronic sounds thumping.

vince clarke's fav keyboard. (that's says alot)

MAN, WHAT A SYNTH!! I used to use samples but now, I've got the real stuff. Every time I play it, my bedroom starts to smell sweet analog. The low pass filter is one of the best I've ever heard and lets you make beautiful synth sweepsa dn twangy basses. I borrowed a 106 once which is also great because it has Midi, but it lacks a bit of punch compared to the elder juno 60 and 6. You'd better look for a Juno 60 and get the Kenton DCB-Midi convertor.
