You can get any sound you want out of this machine. Expecially with the add on boards. My favorite synth

I SIMPLY LOVE THE JV SOUNDS ROLAND HAVE COME A LONG WAY WITH THERE TECHNOLOGY; ALTHOUGH THERE IS SOME SOUNDS THAT COULD BE IMPROVED ON SUCH AS THE GUITAR SOUNDS

Which wont stop you from making _killer_ basses, but they just sound a bit different. Anyway it's simply not the real purpose of that machine... All in all one of the best modules from the previous millenium"
You need the vintage board with those samples/waveforms on it. These sound just like the "real" one. Fat, and warm, and juicy. Agreed, one of the best modules from the previouse millenium.

Then Nubey, come up with a new synthesis technique. This machine is powerful, and for my purposes, fullfills my needs. I don't care about the process, just so that I can tweak the sounds inside the machine, and I can do this on this machine, and come up with sounds no one has ever thought of.This is a synth to me.If you don't like sample playback machines, then don't buy them. It sounds like you want one, but don't want to pay the price they are asking for.
