Devon Brent a professional user from USA writes:
Simply brilliant! The most ingenious laid out menus since the Yamaha W5/W7

series of synths. Basically, everything that was good about the Yamaha W5/W7

that the JV1080/XP50 didn't have, they put into this unit and more.

The phrase preview was a waste of money, and the general MIDI instruments

are weak, but the potential as a techno/rave box is incredible. The menu

system is simply a dream. It's very easy to navigate, and you now have

pretty much everything in your face at once now, unlike it's older brother.

The cards are not bad. The world card had more musically 'usable' instruments

than I usually hear, and the orchestral card isn't bad. The 60's and 70's

synth card and dance card are ok, but you have a ton of sounds right in your

lap right now anyway to make some great sounds with this unit. The resonance

on this unit is what really makes this baby sing as well, for those great

acid type sounds. So if you're looking for a total kick-ass techno machine

that you don't mind programming, this is a great machine. Certainly much

more intuitive than the piss poor MC303 Groovebox.....
