This is simply the staple of dance music. The flexibility and ease of use allows you to customize sounds in seconds. It hosts all TR808/909 sounds which is where dance came from, and now that mine has finally rolled over after 9 years, I'm out looking for another one... I can't say enough good things about this unit.

Bernward a professional user from Canada writes:
I only bought this because I couldn't find a Juno or a Jupiter in my town. I didn't give a damn about sequencers at the time, I just wanted to be able to find an original sound quickly by turning some dials, and not by pressing buttons or navigating an elaborate maze of sub-menus.

One day after scanning through some of the elaborate sub-menus, I discovered note perfect sequencers -something I didn't fully understand at the time- built right into my quirky analogue rip off. After much experimentation, I have been able to build patches, arrange parts, copy thick lines and layer my beats and oh my! I no longer suffer from digitalis superficialis! I can use this digital jugernaught to make organic sounds!

some extras: This keyboard will take you to new depths. Colaborating musicians are known to have ideas which can trap you in their shallows; this keyboard is the supertanker you need to ram through the wading pools of simpletons and hobyists, whose understand is stunted by tweegs of 'green'peace. I endorse this product, and encourage all of you -if you're at all like me- to plunder the resources of our modern era. The future is now...

Oh, and another thing rip your vinyl on to CD, and it sounds just as 'warm'.

I've been converted from analogue purist, to an everything purist because of this keyboard.

This keyboard is pretty good... Especially for $275. I don't have a manual, though, so I haven't really even scratched the surface on what one could do with such a board. If anyone reads this and knows where I can get a manual, then drop me a line at chapterone@praiseYAH.com.
