essentially a juno with 2 oscs. programming via the slider is not as hard as many make it out to be. funny how people are prepared to pay twice as much for a juno which is more limited. i had them both - a juno-6 (supposedly the best sounding juno) - and i can attest the jx3p has almost the same sound, it´s 95 per cent there.
the sequencer is fun and you can come up with 80´s basslines in no time due to its tight and rigigly mechanic sequencer. all in all, a neat package: more functionality than a juno, small and lightweight, and garish colour scheme into the bargain.
oops, i forgot: less poser value.
