When I went to the store after seeing this unit in rolands website, I was VERY dissapointed, then for some strange reason I ended up buying it a week later, for 300, and when i got it, i tried to sell it right away..... after playing with it for a short time.... now I have decided to keep it, if you really give it time, you can find the use for it, I know, it does look like a toy, but it has some good features, the drums are the worst piece of crap I have ever heard in my life, but the bass and lead synth sounds are really phat and good, the looping system is a good sampler easy to use, hey, if you really want to enjoy this little dude, just sample and loop anything you can into it.... i first tried to sample some james brown, with some porno movie's girls moaning and groaning with some great bass and synth lines, and it sounded great???? Do I make you horny baby?? PLEASE, IF SOMEONE OUT THERE HAS A MANUAL AND WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL ME OR GIVE ME A COPY PLEASE, P L E A S E !!!!!! WRITE ME AT THIS EMAIL, davila@onlinerock.com, I WOULD BE MORE THAN WILLING TO PAY FOR THIS MANUAL EVEN THOUGH I VE HEARD ITS HORRENDOUS, BUT THE GUY WHO SOLD THE MC-09 GAVE IT TO ME WITHOUT THE MANUAL, WELL,THANKS AND ENJOY YOUR TOYS DUDES! LATER, PEACE!

Don Calavera a hobbyist user from U.K writes:
I got a MC-09 little more than a week ago. It is fairly easy to use and can give good results. Mine set me back 250. It has an inbuilt memory of 20 user sequences and unlimited external storage cards. (when I say unlimited it does not include the fact that there is a limit to the number of cards in the known universe). This machine has lead bass and drum sounds which are sequenced hen sampled. Although this is an all in one unit it could be used as a drum machine and/or sampler. Bettie says don't forget to feed the goldfish and then feed the goldfish to the cat.

DONT LISTEN TO THESE GUYS. Nerm, you never even played with the thing and already you are slandering it. and 'Fortune' the SM Card is not time consuming at all really, the phraselab reads the cards actively, meaning you can play loops with no load time (unlike the electribe S).

Please guys, if you do not own this or have hands down experience with it, to likewise make a fair comparison with other stuff, do not put a message up, go to the 'GAS STATION' section for that, thats what the Gas Station is there for, revews are for revews.

I can tell you guy's dont even have that much gear already. I like the new design...

From what I can tell, this instument is a kickback of the ER1,EA1,ES1 rolled into a new UI. This instument is just as good as the other guys out there, you just dont give it a chance to use it right.

...DAMN KIDS THEIR ALL THE SAME...
