DJ Hike a professional user from Boston writes:
I just read a comment from some reject who said whomever listens to Trance or House doesn't understand music? I laughed for about 3 hours of how stupid and idiotic he or she is. To all those that say trance is not music and it sucks and all let me tell you one word IBIZA. You wont find hip hop or alternative yell your lungs out metal trash. Only dance music 100%. You still think trance is not music? Come to Boston or fly to NY see how many people wait in line dying to get in to see producers like John Digweed, Oakenfold, Sasha. Oh wait its not music still right? Fly to europe and say trance sucks what will happen? You will get shot! Trance is an inspiration for people all across the world. Its not much the style but the energy that captures the minds and the bodies of many. Trance music is by far the most popular music IN THE WORLD. We all know that here in the US when it comes to music we're known as the most closed minded people on earth. Why? because the record industries have drilled hip hop and rock in peoples brains make them belive that its the only style of music. Well its not and I'm not saying this because I was born and raised in Europe I'm saying this because there is a hole new world out there you just have to stick your head out of the hole and check it out sometime. As far as the MC-307 I haven't picked it up yet but I can only imagine what i can do with it with my 2 decks and my pioneer 3000 cd and mixer set.

Kees Wesselius a hobbyist user from Netherlands writes:
Great sounds, sometimes thin compared to TS12, but: - not many old-fashioned style drums, disco/dancefloor rhythms absent, a pity! - NOT easy to learn (how do I delete a real-time track NO not all of them)! Too many functions, took hours to enable effects - taskes seconds to write a pattern to memory, does anybody know why? - after two weeks (6 patterns) already 25% of the memory full! - how can I blow all non-drum tracks out of the preset patterns? I use it as a drum machine...

The MC-307 is a good machine. I am not a DJ or a House Musician. I like to make strange rhythm's and use them in my (electronic) music. This machine can make any kind of rhythm and the sound's in it are very usefull. I read in some review's that there are people who hate MC user's. They say "it's easy to put some buttons and you're think you are a DJ". Bullshit. This instrument got the possibility to create music in a creative way. O.k. don't use the preset's, make all thing's by yourself. I use it in combination with a Juno-60, Yamaha Cs1x, Cubase 5.1 and a Korg MS 20. It's my alternative for the old 505,606,707,808,909's, TC's TB's anyway it's a great machine.
