I bought it 2 days ago and it was a very good investement for me. I use it as a sound module and sometimes i will use it to perform on stage. The sound of the mc 307 is realy good, but the sequencer sucks(doesn't really matter for me, I use Cubase). I don't think that many DJ's will buy this. This is a machine for producers I think.

oh yeah i love the mc-307 it kicks bot bot. and has anyone noticed how when ya edit a drum kit and you are searching for sounds there are all these jp-8000 saws and juno stabs and all these cool sounds. but whne you look for them in all the sound banks you cant find the same sounds. that maybe they are there but i cant find them. mind you i haev only owned the 307 for a week but i love the thing. the drum programming is nice same wit hthe bass line programming. just dotn know how to do those nice slides like on the tb-303. i wanna get some nice 303 sounding riffs going. and does anyone know of the jp-8000 production has stopped? btw did i say the 307 was a nice piece of equipment? it is HUGE!!!! for a small machine. i would have liked 24db filters though hehehe.

yeah so plz explain how to do slides on this thing if you can

the reason people complain about the sounds of the machinne is because they cant create their own and they expect roland or yamaha or korg or whoever to make the sounds for them thats for us ,to be original, stop complaining and learn to program learn to be innovative learn synthisis. create!!!!!!

I had a Rm1X, and i change it for a Mc307. The Mc307 sounds really better...... About the discussion.....I know that the groovebox is not to produce music, but I don't want it for that. I'm a dj, and I want to make wy own loops and tracks to mix it with my records. And the Mc307 is really effective.
