My Roland Mc-500 Mk II is great! It's by far the best I've ever used! Even better then Monica's from Germany! I love it so much! And it sure is good to know that others have had "non review" related discussions here in the "Add review" page besides my self. I'm going to go and watch "Hogan's Hero's now. Bye!

Krantz a hobbyist user from Denmark writes:
Little do people know that the Roland MC-500 has the same user interface in the rythm programming part as the TR X0X's of this world. Used together with Novation Drumstation or EMU Procussion, you will have a perfect 80's drum-machine, totally integrated to your sequencer/composer. No extra cords and interfaces! And it can all be stored on cheap, copyable floppy discs! What a bargain! By the way, who wants to use a computer and mouse for composing music, when you use it at work all day!

Andrew Franks a part-time user from Florida writes:
Bought the machine a few weeks ago and love it. When I bought it I didn't have any software for it. So I called up Roland and got the software sent to me for free in about 5 days; it was the MRC-200/500 system software. One thing I don't like about it, is trying to edit system exclusive messages. What a bitch!

The only thing that bugs me is the time it takes to quatizise and step record with s-mrc v.2.0 that sucks. apart from that it's a great machine.
