I picked mine up second hand a few months back. It seems to have a problem with fast attack, big bottom sound, intermittently spitting out a low level cruching noise on attack. Just as well I mainly wanted it for slow attack sounds. In that department at least this thing is worth a mint. By the way, I didn't get a programmer, but was overjoyed to find that I could make a complete programmer in software using faders in Emagic's Logic Audio. Picture a PG800 on the screen and that's roughly it. Drop me a note if you'd like a copy. But that's not all that makes this beastie good with a sequencer. It has a mono mode which is ostensibly for use with a guitar tracker - 6 note's input simulataneously on 6 midi channels. I use those channels to send constant .5 cent slow sine-fluctuating POLYPHONIC pitch bends for truely analog sounding pads, and the results are mind-blowing - silk smooth and wide as the ocean!

Just to add to the raves already here. This is a simply fantastic synthesiser. The sound is so deep, wide and beautiful - this is mainly due to the authentic vintage Roland resonant filters. It's great and I love mine to bits - had it for seven or eight years and I would not be without it.

was just about to off mine due to lack of use, when i played a few notes and realized how nice it sounds...smooth as butter, great bottom end, 12-voice, and very editable...
