Listen for yourself: Compare the Mellotron sounds from the M-VS1 with a real Mellotron M400. Head to my web site at http://www.kleonard.com, go to the ...kl...'s Tunes site. It's on the Tunes page at the bottom. A must-listen if you're going to buy this box for high-profile 'tron stuff.

I like the M-VS1. A bit heavy on the Moog sounds, but I've used a lot of the sounds that are in the box. Not bad for its price.

Paid US$275 for this box...the Mellotrons are just about worth the price of admission by themselves.

It's a bit tricky to use, the user interface isn't anything to write home about. But if you can get a good deal on one, go for it, you won't regret it.

And did I mention the great Mellotron sounds? ;-) The 'tron strings can make your music sound like an old Genesis record. Great analog sounds too. This is a great box for proggers on a budget.

This box kills! Great sounds - this one's a keeper. Perfectly compliments my samplers and other synths. The mellotrons are great, the pads are great and worth the price of admission alone. Get one at all costs.
