What a heavy beast the chipboard casing is very nice and the coloured knobs are acceptable. The keys are white and the plug at the back goes into your wall. Then........smashing ensemble chorused mush synth sounds. Waaaaaaaaa

Two years ago I bought a Roland Paraphonic 505 for $15 at a garage sale. It has been sitting virtually unused since, and I would like to begin using it. Can anyone tell me what type of pedals I can use on it? Does anyone know where I could get a manual for it, explaining the different functions, etc.? I appreciate any advice anyone can offer.

I have had a 505 for a few years and would never get rid of it. I use it for an effects unit. The internal chorus can be used by external instruments. See the Roland Rack Dimension D article at WAVEVIOLATOR.
