This machine is really really LOADED. I use it in my DJ set with a bass station board and the combo is unbeatable for on the fly remixing! This machine is built incredibly well (Roland). The S550 is equally well suited to the studio as I use it for many recordings. If you want a really nice sample editor it has one built in! You can plug it in to a tv or monitor. A really great deal if you can get one for under 400 go for it! (I bought mine a year ago and have been happy ever after) peace

A great machine for the price. Much better to get one of these used than an el cheapo new sampler!
