Fair Do`s Andreas is right, the RS09 ain`t no RS101,202 or 505, in fact a Siel Orchestra 2 would give it a healthy kicking.

Sorry, got my 09 series mixed up there. the SA09 Saturn is crap also, probably even a worse product than the RS09. get a VK1 if you like the Roland Organ sound. really the SH09 synth is the only worthwhile member of this family {better than the 101 infact} and happens to have been the cheapest and best built.

"vintage synthesizers" by mark vail (of Keyboard magazine) has one little blurb about the Saturn 9 next to a photo: "Even though the Roland Saturn 09 looks like a monophonic synth, it's actually an organ. It showed up in 1980 for an asking price of $795." (Page 249) Sorry I don't know more. The price guide in the back says it's worth $50-$150 (street value) and $250-$350 (dealer value) (But then this is the same book that reports the TB303 as being worth between $50-$300 street and $200-$700 dealer, the highest price listed being about half what it goes for at places like Rogue music.
