Roland is the most amazing compeny there

is, and the SC-88Pro is the most amazing

module I have ever heard. I don't Know why

mister "Buzz" is giving it such a hard time.

I meen, what other module offers you 1117

soundsÝ(40 Megs), 64 insertion effects (plus 4 differnt

busses...!) and 32 MIDI channels with a 48Khz

sampling rate??? And withÝthe quality that

ONLY Roland can give! I haveÝheardÝit playÝ

a few MIDI filesÝ after playingÝon it for

a few hours(...) and that was moreÝthan enough

for me to decideÝ what to doÝwith 50% of my

life savings thank you very Ýmuch!

After years of playing the circuits, I have finally found what I have been looking for. This little unit provides the very best piano sounds i have ever heard..except for my Steinway baby grand in the conservatory. which is a lot more cumbersom to carry to gigs. My latest album is a testament to its versatility, (BARRY BARR LIVE IN PHILMORE EAST) with just aboput every track containing a sc88 pro sound . track 5..into the darkness intro uses small club effect on intro.....can u tell it from real? briefly...the strings are top notch....pads are truly lush... sax is second to none... hope you enjoy the album as much as we enjoyed making it..... 2 years went into it and judjing by its progress its appreciated by you the fans ADi

Lotsa bang for the buck! Many wave table patches sound as good as samples. Breathy tenor sax patch is great! Acoustic piano sounds are disappointing--which may be more of a function of the velocity settings, not the patches. The documentation SUCKS big time. I almost sent the unit back because it wasn't clear from the documentation how to hook the thing up. Glad I didn't. Edirol people provide decent customer service.
