Love it! I got mine a few years back for £100, including Kenton retrofit and pro solo converter. The only problem is that the noise generator doesn't work. MIDI works fairly well, but tuning can drift if it's not warmed up sufficiently. I used it to emulate a digeridoo on a track called ELECTRO AEROPHONE which can be found on the Future Music CD issue 124 (JULY 2002)

When the bass player of one of the bands at my old school left that band, the pianist replaced him with his left hand playing a Roland SH-1000. I still remember to this day, the lovely bass sound coming from the Roland via a small combo amp. That was about 21 years ago. I would like to get decent samples of it for my Akai sampler, but haven't found any yet.
