I am gonna laff my ass off at all you snivelers when some DJ like oakenfold or willam orbit comes out with a #1 song that has crappy steppy filtering .And all of you fools are gonna rave about how cool zippy steppy filters are .Just cant live with out it .bla bla blaaaa blaa. Program past the problem dont be so narrow minded. For the money this little box is great.Dont any of you try before you buy I think most of you people buy shit just cause someone els has it or you wana be cool .When I buy new gear I ask for the manual read over it and spend time playing to see if it meets my needs .Every instrument is what it is .A rose is a rose is a rose.

i find it strange that so MANY people are fussing about the fact that the filters step, isnt there a filter off mode,YES there is ,do you own other synhts with ext.in or even better!!,are there any analog filters out there??,well plug it in on your sh32 for a better sounding, more analog, without the stepping problem!!!! hey this way it doesnt sound cheap at all,it could even sound like a vintage roland!!so basicly its good that the filters suck,so you can add it yourself !!!guess nobody thought of this before, as i read most reviews are puttting the sh 32 down ,if it doesnt meet ur demands,TRY to use ur brain to overcome the problem, there isnt a synth out there that WILL meet EVERYBODYS!!demands.

I think this synth is pretty good for the price the only gripe i have is with the filter the stepping is a bit stupid , apart from that its fine given the price range its in it has a reasonably good spec, it sounds fine for most things, and does not seem limited in Timbre, and in many ways reminds me of my Sh 101 (when it was working), the key follow is good and helps over come the stepping problem in terms of playability, the Lfos are good also and they use the filter well with out stepping, I think that this is a good value for money synth ,although slightly stretched interms of how much it packs in terms of effects spec, the distortion rocks ,and its dam easy to program. There are some things it doesn't do, but for the most part it doesn't give you the impression that it will do those things, its no novation but then no novation is an Sh32, thats all I have to say, although I think its important to give a fair review, so if this synth upsets you too much I suggest that you go and see a counsellor and work through your affliction properly rather than compensating by buying an impressive synth, because this is neither the problem or the solution to your psychalogical needs.

Hi! This is little awsome synth monster. It has very powerfull, deep, clean sound and with 4 parts that's even better. Rhythm part is little poor, agains the sampler machine possibility, maybe is usefull for some hi-hats and snares, but you'll not be disappointed with synth part, which is really good. Generally i would buy another one, but then i'm sure will be some new machine on the market :)

This synth is easy to use, but it sounds cheap. It's specifications have been thoroughly discussed in other threads, so I'll skip that part. The different sample's which are used for it's oscillators and its filters don't do it for me. The synth engine its self is obviously catering to the low end of the market. There's nothing wrong with that except there might be other synths which are in the same price range that aren't so shallow. Now, I will admit I am a demanding user. If you are easily pleased then by all means disregard this review.
