over used but don´t blame the synth! this is a true classic with a wonderfully bad interface :)so many classic tunes and groups would not have excisted without it. don´t waste your money on a clone. you need 303 sound get a 303! need mini moog get a mini moog! but most important of all - improvise, be original and use your equipment to it´s fully potential!!

That's what Fatboy Slim sayed: "Everybody Needs a 303". I got my 303 after 4 years of searching. Was able to get a mint condition unit for $700.00 USD. The sound is a little more purer than ReBirth and the difference in accent is noticeable. it's nice to have a physical sequencer too. The fact that the sequencing is done in 3 steps make experiementing more fun. I've got mine hooked up to a BOSS Metal Zone distortion pedal, it's amazing! Acid to the moon baby!

I just bought one for about a grand, and let me tell ya all that yep it costs a bunch. However, I have owned a lot of emulators that claimed 303. And nothing comes close to that warm drippy sound. It is so thick at one time thinns out gains contrast and sounds like melting metal. With effects to support its genius, it compliments the sound even more. Mr Kikomoto didn't even know what he was paving the way for. Im so glad I blew 3weeks pay on it.

TB-303 is so worth the money, I can't believe they're only $1000! No sequencer or synth clone alive can do it the same---as is the converse true. If you own a TB, then you've just added a player to your rig that is like having the best bass player around for "feel" both rhythmically and in tone. Produce the mighty player in creative new ways and T. B. Silverman will deliver everytime. 303 isn't limited as long as your not limited. Actually even if you are limited. Enjoy the TB-303 cuz it's eternal.

the 303 is a mystical instrument. Don't diss it because it does not measure up to todays standards... There are many new instruments that can do A LOT more for the same price...To truly love a 303 is to love a 303 This box is truly one of a kind.
