Naysayers beware! No, the sounds aren't great. Pretty boring, actually, a lot like a Linn Drum, but totally untweakable (unless you like to tweak the volume). However, with individual outs and MIDI it shouldn't be too hard to get something decent. The thing I love most is the ridiculously easy interface. If I were to assign a level of ease of use, I'd say "mongoloid in coma". Yes, it's that easy! And fun! Speaking of mongoloids, can anyone tell me how to sync this up to my JSQ-60? I know nothing about DIN sync.
