I am absolutely a beginner musicians, and 808 is absolutely great to play, just punch your rhythms, and BOOM, nothing is like it, so easy and fun, pus the sounds are top notch, period

Over the past 20 years I must have owned every damn retro boomboxes in my studio but the only vintage drumsynth I kept and still use once in a while after all these years is the 808.It simply has class.Though I still prefer to create my own drum kits from modeling or simply by field recording.
