This is definitely the most jazzy and charismatic drummachine ever.

It's more than a box with 11 sounds, it's a musical instrument!

I own a tr-808, and it is by far my favorite piece of equipment.....nothing can reproduce that original 808 sound......the only bummer is, it is hard to find an anolog-to-midi converter.....(I finally located one, and the asking price was $450(US).

Chris Paluch a professional user from US writes:
OK, this is the only machine I do prefer. I am not one to judge other drum machines, but I do prefer this one over all others, it is the first I worked on, on the easiest. It is not worth the fortune to pay for it though, get rebirth, save time and money.

Ryan Palmer a hobbyist user from 0 writes:
I'd have to say that i own the best 808 in the world.

check this s#!t out! Mods individual Variable high and low eq for snare drum adjustable decay on the toms 4 accent levels available now adjustble noise level adjustable reverb & desity of the handclaps 32 times the original memory All this was done by Robin Whittle I think his name is

now its not midi but who the hell would wanna midi this baby.

as it was said its got a groove the midi can't reproduce.

I've her samples of the 808 and they may as well have been samples

of my butt. They sound fake!!!!!!!

nothing beats the real thing baby!!

show me another drum machine that has that much control and that much

analogue and i'll say you've "matched it"

but until then I belive this is the drum machine of drum machine.
