Don't get me wrong, being into classic 80's electro I love the TR808 (not so keen on the 909) BUT come on, how overused has it been?
Sure, get one, do a couple of tracks with it and move on... don't churn out track after track with the same damn sounds over and over again.

This thing is da bomb.......don't believe anyone who says that it can be emulated...........It can't.....not by Novation, Jomox, Proppelorheads..... It's a combintaion of things (sequencer, old electronics, design flaws etc) that give this thing it's groovy feel. 808 and 909 changed music, that's a fact.
