Don't front on the 808, just let it make your body move.

I just purchased one... and I love it.
I was just wondering whether other 808 owners could help me out with something. I notice that when the decay on the bass drum is set to max, that the "Boom" starts overlapping and creates wierd noise fluctuations and even bass drops. It tends to work fine at a three o'clock position. Now is this just normal? And also, some of my buttons require extra force to trigger, is this easy to fix. Any info would be much appreciated.
