I have the Mark II VP330 Plus. I have no idea how much they are worth now. I picked mine up for 280 about 14 years ago. I love it, cant get enough of it. The choir sounds are great with the ensemble on, however you can still get good results without it. The string sounds always remind me of Vangelis, I'm convinced this instrument was used on the Bladerunner soundtrack.

I wouldnt sell this for all the money in the world. Mmmmm ok well I will swap for a ARP 2500 !!

I've become something of a serial # hound lately. I was curious as to whether anyone knows where Roland started these beasts at? I picked up S#00007, in virtually new condition. It sounds as described by AdamT, warm and surprisingly accurate for an analogue 'choir'. Very useable. Also has the neat feature of allowing an external audio source to become the carrier. I plug in and modulate my Memorymoog from time to time using my 909 as the modulator. Talk about drum pads... ANYWAY.
