I paid £549.00 for my VP including the producer pack four weeks back and have had no problems. Only draw back is the maximum 50/25 second sample time.
Have sampled loops at 90-135bpm re tuned and tempo matched, no problem. Have corrected vocal samples with pitch wheel, used backing's etc.
Its the best kit I have purchased for a long time, and my first time was in 1979 an SH09. Buy one today.

Hi,
Its still a pice of junk. I just took mine in for service on Feb 22. I can't even sell it for more than 500 . No one wants these because they are not reliable . You'll see ,eventually you will start getting freeze and lock-ups. UGGH . Not reccomended.

The vp9000 is a kick butt phrase sampler. You can get it now for about $1000.00 (I hear it is discontinued) and if you contact Roland with your receipt of purchase they will give you the amazing v-producer software for FREE.
