Well said. It's the ONLY synth ever made which does what it does. The idea behind synthesis is to synthesize, and the V-Synth can weave hnerferiffic and bizarre soundscapes effortlessly and then COSM the ever lovin' chutney out of them until you just stare at it in disbelief.

I got me a hand clamp at Sears to keep the damper pedal activated, then I plays the D-Beam and T-T Pad like one wot has been hijacked by a sammich bag full o' bees.

Possibly the funnestest synthesizer ever made. And ain't that the point of it all?

It's...diff'rent. Sucks at instrumental emulations, but who cares? It's...diff'rent. Sound mangling is its bag. Looks delicious, sounds delicious. VERY hands-on. It's diff'rent. Begs to be messed with, especially its marvelous touch-screen & time trip pad. Keyboard? I don't need no steenkin'...aah, skip it. Ought to be renamed the "V-Syck."

Elliot a part-time user from Long Island, New York writes:
This is not a synth for everyone. If you want to do emulations (real-sounding piano, organ, guitar), go elsewhere. It can be twisted into doing that but unless you are masochistic, find a Kurzweil or a Roland XV or a Motif. It is a reasonably good VA synth but even there, there are probably better ones. What this baby excels at are signature sounds. It can twist sounds and transform samples into original sounds...he bottom line is, you should be willing to program. The factory presets are fair at best, in fact. The keyboard action is sweet and the user interface is downright wonderful. It may be the best ever produced. The controllers are also deluxe and very versatile but they take getting used to( at least for me, they did.)

I love this synth but it would make a much better second or third axe than a first one.
