Gary Schmidt a professional user from Colorado, USA writes:
Just got the thing a couple of days ago... because

1) I wanted a cheap keyboard to keep at home

2) It sounded great for the money

3) Loved the idea of easily combining sounds in live performance

So far think it is great value for the money...

now if they only hire people who know how to write manuals...who can figure out those diagrams?

The XP10 was my first keyboard, and it has been great. Since buying the synthesizer 9 months ago, it has allowed me to expand my horizons as a composer. To epitomise its versatility, I was able to record two full songs for a demo using vocals and purely the XP10. The sound quality is amazing and the drum kits very impressive for a synthesizer. In all, it is the best product on the market for beginners. If you are not familiar with electronic music, the XP10 is a great way to start!

Bought my XP about a year and a half ago. I am pleased with it overall but i wish the keyboard had more effects which would give more control over altering the presets that it contains. It was a little weak in the sound department (my Korg has more power), but nothing that a good mixer can't fix. It is a solid keyboard made for midi composition and providing solid, basic sounds in performance. I use mine for the essentials (piano, organs, etc.) and leave the wild stuff for my Korg. I would recommend this keyboard highly stage and midi use. Very pleased.

XP-10 is my first syn. After i shop around and heard it's sound, i fell in love with it. Although a bit noisy on the top range, the bass and middle sound is stunning. Especially i plugged it through a 200 W amp and 15 inch subwoofer..... i guess u know what my neighbours feeling....... ; )
