for a second-hand price around $500 here,its really a bargain,good sound,easy to make a full arrangement for pop music...i suggest anyone buy the dynamic drums and symphonic strings,or even the repackaged jv-series "old sound" cards(i.e.srx-06 to -09)

So far I've only messed with the sounds and I must say it's pretty kick ass. The architecture gets deep so don't be afraid. I also have an Emu Xlead w/ Mo Phatt card but this Roland beast has more of that bread butter. Can anyone recommend the best expansion cards? This machine is lacking in the drum dept.
