Bought my D-20 in 1989. I still have it and intend to have it for the rest of its life. Nothing's perfect, even the D-20. I'd appreciate if anyone has improved the piano sound and share me info.

I bought my D20 second hand and I must say that it's still a good synth eventhough it's 10 jears ago now that it was first produced. Most of the factory presets are quite old fashoned but the D20 is still able to offer new sounds if you put some (or even better a lot) time into sound programing. One of his strong sides is certenly the creation of analog sounds. Mixing them with the spectrum waveforms can create really funny sounds, even techno-like sounds are possible! The weak sides of the D20 are it's sequenzer which is totally obsolete, most of the sampled 8-Bit waveforms and it's low signal to noise ratio.

The D-20 is my first good synth. Even though I've only had it for roughly 10 months, I've done some pretty cool stuff with it. Like most of you, I've found that the sequencer is more or less useless for the pro but it's still fun to work with. Now that I've hooked it up to Cakewalk on my PC The possibilities seem to have doubled. Bottom line; for an old keyboard it got alot of juice. P.S. Si vous vous voulez m'écrire en français, allez-y!

I have had the D-20 for a few years now and I am using it in my band "Just Fun". I know that there are sounds available for the D-20, but I can't find any. Maybe there is someone of you guys out there who can help me with finding new sounds for the D-20 so that I can use the new sounds in my band. Offcourse I like to help you when you have any questions about the D-20 or other synths.
