The sounds of the D70 are really EXCELLENT, but I am having problems
with the 128-tone limit. Editing is also not very simple, but it's the
price you have to pay for such a great sound.

I love it. bought it in 1990 and have been using it ever since. Its been with me on 2 albums and multiple gigs. compared to many synths to day the d70 is very loud and open. xp50-80 have great sounds but they are extremely compressed. Editing the d70 is easy once you get the hang of it. Lovely display when working vca, vcf. admitting release, attack and vcf depth when playing is a piece of cake. you can create some really wierd sounds and great bass sounds using the dlm functions. greatest thing thats happened for warm and big sounds since ob 8 and jupiter 8. Hopefully I´ll be using the d70 for many years to come.
