think it must just be the US that you have problems with Roland. had one small problems with my G800, sticky note, middle C!!! phoned them, pick up 3rd ish ring, told me where to take it and who would be at the store to fix it byname! even a wrough time span on the repair-had it... 6 years now i think. works like a dream. play with it and the sounds will blow your socks off-and your amp!

I have been using a G800 for the past few years. Excellent sounds. Great features. Not enough memory for complex user styles. LCD display is too small. More ethnic sounds required. If any one know a currant version of G800 or G1000 please let me know.

I have had my G800 quite a while now and recently thought I might upgade. I looked at and tried the new V series and I was bitterly disappointed. In the 800 and 1000 Roland produced a keyboard/arranger that was really fitted for stage use. Subsequent Roland keyboards seem to have gone back to an older "home keyboard style" with in-board speakers and lots of gimmicky backing voices etc. Come on Roland - let's have a new improved G800 with say a midi drive and a cd drive too and perhaps some more styles.

Halo! Rad bi samo to povedal, da je ta klaviatura ful zaniè, ker nima: zvoènikov, sekvencerja, hard diska, aftertoucha in se marsièesa. Za igranje je ful trda in nerodna za transport. Zvoki so zlo temni in pretrdi za komercialno glasbo. Meni je blo zlo žal, da sm jo kupil. Zato sm jo hitro prodal. Aja, pa še to: ritmi!!! Kakšna žalost. Resolucija je sicer dobra (120 na èetrtinko), ostalo pa pogreb! Noben ni takšen, kot bi si ga lahko želel. Še najboljše pri tej delovni postaji je to, da lahko kreiraš svoje ritme. Slabost zvokov je tudi majhna multitimbralnost. Predvajanje midi datotek je dobro, vendar otežkoèeno preko disketne enote. Zaslon je premajhen in premalo pregleden. Tipke na plošèi klaviature so ravno tako zelo trde. Zato je delo z njo precej naporno. Vsem, ki se resno ukvarjate z glasbo in aranžiranjem; še en nasvet: ne, poudarjam, NE kupujte tega èudesa od tehnologije. Škoda dnarja!!!!!!!!!!!
