I've bought SC-88 from a secondhand shop with no optional cables. Has anyone built rs-232 cable from coumputer's serial port to SC-88 PC-connector? Where can I find the instructions? I'm not willing to pay 30 bugs for a simple cable if one can be build by self.

I bought the SC-88Pro for a year ago now. It has very great sounds. I special like the new build-in guitar distortion simulation. It makes the distortion -guitar sound much more realistic than the sc-88's distortion guitar (I have that one too) But It's not any good to make orchestra music. It's best in pop/rock, synth, techno

I've had an SC-88 for a couple of years now. I love it. The quality of the sounds over-all is superb. The output is better (depth and brilliance) than many of my records/cds/etc - NOTE: The synth is on the same system as my tuner, tape deck, cd, record player. The only fault I have is that I can't tailer reverb and chorus per track - maybe they'll add this capability in future iterations.
