The most common mistake is the AWE 32 uses 330H for its MPU-401. I have mine set to 300H, and my Roland set to 330H, IRQ 2 for the SCC1. Hope this helps..

Nice piece of sound. When you have the Soft-Sound-Editor you can even make those

creepy techno-noises... Unfortunately, I cant make it function under W95. I have the Terratec EWS64 and

the SCC-1 doesnt work... Any ideas or help? -Let me know...

I have the scc-1 and my software disk has died, could someone lend me a hand. I have tried to deal with roland to get a new copy and can't get it done.

I would hate to dump this card, just due to the lack of software...

Benjamin L Ray a part time user from New Brunswick, Canada writes:
This isn't a comment, more of a question I've had for quite some time now.

Maybe you can help me - I've got a good old SCC-1 card, and I'm having a hard

time using it on my machine at the same time as my SB AWE 32 card. Windows 95

can handle each of them separately, but as soon as I have them BOTH installed,

the Roland's Midi output is all messed up, and I can't seem to find any major

conflicts. If you have any installation procedure you've found works, could

you let me know? I'd appreciate it. -Ben

I've heard great things about this card. Only problem, it's discontinued and I can't find it anywhere. I'm just now starting to get into MIDI and I hear this is a good card to start out with. If you know where I can find this card w/ installation disk, and or if there would be a problem dualing it with a AWE64G, please post a follow-up, or e-mail me.
