I just purchased a fully restored Prophet 600 from Wine Country Productions and let me say that it's a wonder to behold! Due to its acquisition, I will be selling off my Korg Poly-800. There is no comparison. I'll take the analog phatness and lushness any day over the digital "wonders." Along with my Kawai SX-240, Oberheim Matrix-1000, Korg MS-20, and Korg Mono/Poly, the Prophet 600 makes my EM studio a wonderful playground. Throw in some digital signal processing and my next CD is just around the corner.

The Prophet 600 is my secret weapon. The sounds are round, lush, fat. Thickness is the only word to describe it. An American Analog classic. On top of the fat sound capabilities, it looks fat it has knobs and wooden ends! Thats style!

I love the sound of this machine! This is classic analog at its best. For the price you can't beat it if you want true and large analog sound. If you can find one for less than $600 go for it, you will love it.
