I think the Studio 440 is what the MPC 60 & 60II wanted to be! I've had mine for about 6 years now without a problem with it since a got it! I'm using it for hip-hop production and it sounds great. It has it's own sound; kind of gritty but clear if you know what I mean. If you can find one, you need to jump on it!! You will not be sorry.
