A kick but true analog synth! This thing rocks!I taken both side pannels off and painted them black>If you have one do it,paint that ugly woodgrain.Youll be glad you did!I have the 1986 midi update chip in myne,It lets you set the midi chanel 1-16 rather than receiving it all in omni or chanel one.The only thing is it stoped working and I have to fix it

gee, all you people are buying this synth for $100.00, $150.00. Is there anyone out here who remembers what the thing cost when it was brand new?? I sure do. That's how long I've had mine.

I have noticed that now everytime I turn it on, it has to retune. takes what 30 sec. If that's the worst thing to go wrong with this machine, then I'm a happy camper. There are a lot of hidden features on this board, and I'd still be lost without my manual.. (where'd I put that again).

The six-trak was my first analog synth. It has great parameter control through midi and the foot switch. Great sounds and so much to do with them. This synth holds the true meaning of analog. I was confused at first, but as long as you have the manual, the synth provides a lot of quality sounds. It houses lots of hidden stuff. Even if you don't know what the hell you are doing, the manual acts as a tutor. If you by one, make sure you get the manual or buy one.

This is a really good machine! When in single oscillator/mono mode, it really rocks. And when in unison, its really fat and warm. 6 OSC monosynth kicks ass!

As you might understand the 6track is my favourite synth at the moment.
