Crimpy a professional user writes:
The minimoog is crap and this aint any better. Not at all important as an analogue synth. Hardly the best analgue of all time. That is just silly. A good mono but not worth hunting down. Buy a voyager if you insist on a moog clone. The usual hype applies to this nonsense.

Sota Fujimori a professional user from Tokyo Japan writes:
This is the best sounding analog synth of all time. Nothing can beat this synthesizer. I was surprized that the SE1 doesn't sounds like a real minimoog at all. This is why I bought the damn midimoog. Once you here the sound of midimoog, you'll love it! It is lot phatter and better than SE1.If you really love the sound of true minimoog, then buy it!. This is actually so much better than the original minimoog because it has an extra LFO and sync capabilities, stable tune, and ofcourse the "MIDI". Believe it or not, they only make these in Japan right now and the brand new midimoog costs about $5000 here. What a rip off isn't it? Anyway, this synth ROCKS. Forget about buying a new one, however, if you can find one cheap, then buy It!

Kevin Lightner a professional user from USA writes:
Just a note that the MIDImini doesn't use the original Mini's keyboard circuitry and DOESN'T have the famous Minimoog linear glide. The glide is more like an Arp, exponential. This, to me, makes the unit less than a perfect minimoog dupe. Otherwise, it sounds just like one.

Lyle David a part-time user from USA writes:
I have MidiMoog #1508, and love it. Because it uses the actual circuit boards from a MiniMoog Model D, it *IS* a MiniMoog, and hence sounds exactly like one, with couple of mods, and with MIDI (Thank God). These synths are rare. If you want one, don't procrastinate when you find one. Buy it. If you love the Moog sound, you won't be disappointed
