I own 20 instruments but with this kind of structure I use JUNO-60,JUNO 106,SH-2 and SH-101.All this machines are very good but SH-101 can kill them all with attack power. Drum kicks and short attack basses are gooood. If somebody need service manual I have it,and also I'm looking for battery cover for my 101.

Well it's an okay little synth. The sounds are all very routine analog stuff, the filter's pretty weak and so is the oscillator... But it's got the most amazing sequencer ever, and combined with a 606 or something it can do the most wacky acidlines... Good fun, but don't pay over $350...

I like the SH-101 cus its the onley (real) analogue synth i have, i like to moddyfi things so... Running my moddyfied 101 with a moddyfied 606 produces very strange and groovey sounds, but there is more to come but i dont whant to wrack my blue shell to much hehe And the attack power is great to make bassdrums and spychodelic basslines with short gate sounds ,

Just bought one of these fantastic synths..... It's true what others say
and this could soon be a 'most wanted' synth. I would recomend one to anyone
who is just starting out (like me) as it is easy to pick up and access all the features.
Sequencer is a bit basic and can only store one pattern (ahh...pre-program between each track)
but apart from that it's great live and will make any speakers rattle!!
Roland we loved you from the start!
