I'll never trade mine (unless someone wants to get rid of their 909, he he). This synth is mighty bassy in my opinion. The SH101 sounds thin in comparison. You can do everything from great basses to strong strings, from acid to industrial, and I've gotten a dead ringer for a 909 kick out of this unit.

By the way, this is the synth that The Eurhythmics used for the famous synth-bass line on "Sweet Dreams."

Cheesy organs ala Beck. No way Mr. Odelay. Get a Moog MG-1 if you want yer synth and cheesy-poof organ action. Better yet get a manly red eye-talian organ like the dreaded Farfisa.

Get an SK-1 if you wanna do Beck. (Heck, i've got one next to my single pickup silvertone) But get an SH-2 if you wanna do solid electronic bass or synth leads. Nice 909 kicks too.
