hi ! i just aquired a cruise synth it is a bit unusual, with mono/poly mix it gives some nice sounds and mono with a touch of glide a good copy of a minimoog,i need to try it through some sound fx to hear what it can do but a good all rounder for its age

Have a listen to Impressioni di Settembre by Premiata Forneria Marconi and Flying by Prism. With a little playing around and a chorus pedal you can get the lead synth sounds almost exactly. The mono section offers a selection of saw and square waves, (some sound like they have different harmonics to others) a nice self oscillating filter, a vibrato effect with speed and depth controll an ADSR portamento speed and pitch bend. I was playing around with one of the new minimoogs the other day and the cruise with a chorus pedal can come pretty close to the moog. The poly section isnt amazing, with it using a single filter for the sound. However its very useable and sits nicely in the background. Nice sturdy construction (mostly plastic, but its THICK) with lots of LEDs above the switches to make things pretty. Overall a good little synth. And its analogue. WOO!

It's a good synth. Easy to use and with a good sound. It can be played in a live situation with a string and bass split or as a monosynth. I think SIEL Cruise it's a nice synthesizer!
