Would definately try to replace if anything happened to it. I must note that the switches don't feel like they could take too much abuse, but then, what the hell do I know... this thing is older than I am and they're still kicking. Just to clarify, I give this a 5 on sounds and 5 on ease of use, but a 4 on construction only because of the switches. Everything else feels solid. If there is someone out there who knows anything about this synth/ Siel in general please post it as I would love to know.

Nice little synth. Well, not little, kinda awkward actually. Doesn't seem to fit in my rack... Anyway, this things not terribly deep,HOWEVER, the sounds it makes are superb. It's got some interesting effects on it (the previous reviewer was correct, as the animator is very cool), and the sound is as fat and analog as I've ever heard, well, maybe no moog, but pretty fucking good none-the-less. Particularly since I only paid 200.00. Everything is laid out on the front panel and very easy to understand. This would be a great beginner's synth. What ever happened to Siel?
