Bought mine for 25 U.S.dollar = 50 gulden. nice warm sounds the piano part on my siel/arp = broken, but i heard thats the saddest part. great if you use fx like delay or reverb. and its fun to let it run true a synth with ext.in

I have the ARP version which is completely the same as the SIEL. Mine unfornately arrived (from an action on EBAY) completely full of mud and was basically dead. After spending way more time than needed to revive it ...I kinda felt like I had reclaimed it to the living dead. It's a wonderful unit if you find one in excellent shape. I dare not keep mine plugged in when im not using it as most of the unit inside has rust and corrison all over the circuits so when it dies it dies, but will sure find another.

the organ sounds are by far the best i have veer heard. you should sustain it and reverb it to death to get a deep dark sound that will quake your speakers. its a heavy sounding synth for the size and it's rather light to carry...did i mention it is wonderful live...but like i said mines on its last leg. Im not sure i would gig a mint one live.

Basically, ARP bought the Orchestra and re-named it the QUARTET. I like the brass sound on it.

PSST: These are the same things as an Arp Quartet. They sound great with reverb think Air's Moon Safari or any string sound heard on virtually any disco record - smooth lush strings, passable brass, corny honky tonk piano sounds (so bad it's almost funny), all in all a great keyboard and reasonably priced too! Get one if you can -- I just sold my quartet (thank god I sampled it first).

4 stars a good but limited keyboard all analog all hard/hand wired big smooth sound -- good for strings!
