it's plain and simple to see, these things are a damn good time... especially when you see them in a store for about a 100-150 bucks, there are 5 modules in my simmons, a bass, a snare, and three toms, but mine says that it is an SDS7, I'm not sure what the 7 means, but it looks like I can indeed shape the drum sounds with a filter (res, decay, attack, nuts) and them store the sounds, and each channel can recieve it's own sequencer!!! but my set did not come with instructions!!! maybe someone can help me with that, and maybe help me find a cymbal module, or any modules, or another hexagonal pad, I wouldn't mind getting another bass drum pad. and then setting up a little double bass drum kicking, but more to the point, these things are great, and they are not overpriced like 909's and 808's...and even better they can be played with real human emotion instead a silly computer, repeating itself over and over, the sounds seem endless, although my digital readout only goes up to 39, they make you feel like you should have pink eye make up and a puffy shirt on. the word I believe you would use to describe these purple beaters is ... munkeliek
