Of the dozens of keyboards I've owned over the years, this is one of the few that I really regret ever getting rid of. THE machine for classic '70's string sounds (P.Floyd, Styx, Gary Wright, and everyone else). This was sold under the ARP badge....the later ARP Omni's are similar, but still don't capture the silky string sounds of the Solina.

I own 2 of these. They sound so good because it uses 3 separate chorus/phaser circuits. I managed to break into that circuit so that I am able to feed any external signal into it which results in mind blowing pads. Originally build by a Dutch company called Eminent and later produced by ARP (under license, I think). Use it with moderation or else you'll end up plastering a whole production up with these 'plastic' strings;-)
