The SE-1 is amazing for analouge bass, leads, and other thick fat sounds! Studio Electronics is a great company. Anyone looking for a minimoog should definately consider this one. Midi and savable programs with the same great analouge sound.

Hi! I don't own a SE-1 myself but I've used it a few times. I really love this little sizer but it doesn't beat my MiniMoog. The MiniMoog sounds more warm and powerful. An example, I can use one or two of the Mini's VCO's and it is still more powerful then the SE-1’s using three VCO’s. You can’t create really fast bass or drum sounds on a SE-1. It has to slow software envelopes. Still it is a great sounding sizer…

Kind regards
