I was at (probably) Europe's biggest synth museum in Switzerland yesterday and I had the opportunity to try out the Synthex..

Simply put, in my opinion, it's the best poly synth I've ever played.

Superb synth pads, big basses, a lovely built in chorus, it has all the lovely analogue sounds but can also sound digital, but in a pleasant way...

Build quality is superb, huge front panel which is well laid out, lovely keyboard.....

Very heavy, about 40Kgs and a HUGE synth to stand behind.

I'd say this is one of the most underrated polys ever.

Whilst at the museum, I also played a Memorymoog, Polymoog keyboard and Polymoog synthesizer, Prophet 5 rev 2.3, Prophet 10, Oberheim OB8, OBXa and a PPG Wave 2.2..To my ears, the Synthex was by far the best sounding poly and has the best build quality...Awesome and I want one!!!!
