I have been using it for 4 years now (although my mother bought it 7-8 years ago).I started using it when I started to play in a band. It is very easy to use and make my own songs. I think it needs no upgrade anyway. The best part for me is its sound, especially piano and strings,it sounds better and much naturally than many synths. But the worst part is it's too heavy for me to carry it myself (I'm an eighty-pound-girl!!). I REALLY LOVE IT. And I have the same problem as many of you,it's that I don't know how to keep it in my computer.

The KN2000 allows a second-rate pianist to produce first-class music. The sound quality is excellent. There are so many standard voices and effects that I have never felt the need to modify them. It is easy to generate your own 5 part accompaniments. For a smooth performance, I recommend loading the panel memories with instruments/accompaniments for successive parts of each song and indexing through the sequence using a footswitch. The only disadvantage of the KN2000 is that the KN6000 and 6500 appear to be significantly better....

I have been using the KN2000 for about 3 years now in a Duo, with a female vocalist. I feed it into a 100watt stereo PA system, and it has performed very well with no problems. I am quite happy with it, although would like to sell it and update to the KN6500 now.
I have played it in clubs, pubs and hotels in East Anglia, also with a four-piece jazz group using just piano/vibes and strings.
