Considering K700 was made in 1986, they were and still are very good, solid, great sounds for the day (better than some Rolands) and good retro drum sounds, the sequencer is an easy use,,a no fuss non touch response keyboard,,,I still use it on gigs today 2011. nothing bad to say abot it

I do have a Yamaha Technic keyboard. SX-K700. Now, age 85, would like to sell it and wonder what price I may ask for it. VERY thankful if someone can give me any idea of demand and / or price.

Bob Weigel a professional user from USA writes:
THis is a digital keyboard with a lot of panel buttons for real time control of a one man band setup. The prior anonymous reviewer is incorrect. Nothing analog except the output amps on this one which as you see says 'digital' on both speaker grills so as to remove any doubt :-). Fairly bright piano ...does this thing have dynamics? I don't think so from playing the piano. Effects are ok for the day it was made. Anyway it's an entry level arranger sequencer performance machine that has a nice set of controls. It seems to be built fairly well and not too light or heavy.

G.D.Kilvington a part-time user from Canada writes:
I use the SX-K700 in conjunction with three other boards(Yamaha PSR510, DJX and CS5 synth) It has a far superior piano/electric piano sound than the Yamahas, although they have better organ sounds than the SX-K. Some of the other voices are not bad, either. I do not use the rythms at all on the SX-K, as they are very dated and simplistic. It is also of a superior construction and material than the all-plastic Yamahas(except for the CS5, also made of metal).
